Able To Play HL2, But Not Fully Downloaded?

i am able to open up HL2, but when i right click on it and go to properties, it says the game is not ready to play and is only 67% downloaded and needs updates. what gives?

is there something i can do to fix this? or do i have to redownload it again for the gazillionth time?

Something like this happened when the game was first released. I think it may have to do with the Steam servers being busy because of the DM update released today. Maybe just leave Steam running and try again later.

Click this link to validate your files. Should start it off again. If not, restart steam before you go to bed and leave it running. Should be sorted before you wake up.

for me it looked like it wasn't going anywhere with the updates, but just let steam run and it will eventually get 100%
