Knowing how click, click, click, Bryce is I find it hard to appreciate anything created in it. Visually that image does look interesting though

You'd be surprised what some people make in bryce.

I was kind of scared to click on the title. Most abstract art bugs me because the artist just seems to me to be putting less effort into uglier work.
One person in my art class, for example, took a blank canvas and hit it with a paint-covered stick for a few minutes. Art?

That said, this is actually very cool, and not all picasso-esque as I expected. It'd make a sweet background for a desktop. Most abstract stuff has the problem of being garish and unappealing, but this is very smooth and clear.

exactly.. those persons should be beaten up..

abstract art is a fine art that takes the core form of a object and makes it unrecognisable. It all about the path to the abstract.
And taking a object and making it more simpeler is styling (comic for example).. and what your dude in class does is something that I call.. poo

Wohaa! That is nice!
Very good job, old boy! Keep it up!

Where can I get bryce and what version? Alos iis it hard to use? VEry nice btw.

Did it take your 2 or 5 minutes to create that?

Try to do some real art and feel the pain and the pleasure of the ready product.

I looked at your deviant art account. Probably 90% of the renders looked pretty much the same. Some of it looked okay.. but work on your variety.

hmm i agree with all of yall there are too mayn people that dont use bryce to its fullest and just put in some primitives with reflective material and call it abstract .no ofense.
but thats why i prefer surealism its abstract enough:P.

Hmm, well actually I spent hours upon hours working on my Bryce stuff, planning, finding the perfect reflection(s), materials, camera angle(s), etc. That's all post-rendering, also.
