Acctivation issue

hey guys i bought half life about a month ago i installed it an played it just fine due to some problems with my computer i had to reboot an start fresh. when i went to install steam and my game it said that the product code was used alredy BUT ITS MY CODE so why cant i install my game? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME THIS SUCKS

Login to steam on your old account, you can redownload it from your account. Did you make a new account on steam? That would be your problem.
