Adding custom sounds/models/ect.. to steam possible?

I have a ton of custom things for DoD, I really don't want to lose them. I have the cs cache fle in steam and I can't seem to locate any folders that have models, sounds, or sprites and I figure it will be the same for other mod cache files. Where are they?

\SteamApps\[email protected]\day of defeat\dod\

That is the folder that acts as the dod mod folder... so the models, sounds, etc folders would be in this folder... if not, make them there.
