Adding skins..? (HELP PLZZ)

ok I have downloaded many skins but have failed to get them in game..i follow the read me for all of them and still nothing..i put my "models" folder in my "materials" folder in my cstrike but nothing...what am I doing wrong? can someone help me?
 
Post a screenshot of the terror and urban folders in windows explorer (not internet explorer).
 
Could someone just tell me how to add skins to ingame play!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
 
cstrike/materials/models/player/urban = urbantemp.vtf goes here.
cstrike/materials/models/player/terror = terrortemp.vtf goes here.
Make sure you picked the correct CS folder. I have 4.
 
Does that apply to wepons but cstrike/materials/models/wepons ?
 
/models/weapons/vweaponname
or
/models/weapons/wweaponname
 
what if the file dosent contain V models or W models like this usp I downloaded only has VMT file (IE: map1.vmt or map1.VTF) thx alot for helping me by the way.
 
Well, that means the skinner is a tool.
Open the vmt in notepad an post it here. I'll tell you where it goes if you can't figure it out.

OK. The file goes in this folder:
"materials\models\weapons\V_models\pist_usp"
You need to create the folders if you don't have them. You should have "materials", though.
