For some reason, if I am using my scroll wheel to move up and my mouse pointer goes over the ads, I can scroll the ads for a little bit. That is annoying.

Could you also center the ads?

No, keep them where they are. They'll get lots of hits where they are. At the top OR, perhaps right before the Quick Reply box so everyone sees them, hehe.

Google ads are the best... they aren't as intrusive as image ads.

I liked the side bars as well. Why not have it so the left side had links to the mina pages of the site (like it is on the main page), and on the right have the google ads? And any other assorted crap you'd like to stick on. That way the sidebars wouldn't seem like a bit empty waste of space.

Well, it was set at 100% like this without any side bars because everyone complained that the forums weren't wide enough.

It's fine now. Nice page width, and I don't mind the ads at the top (at home they'll get blocked anyway (hah, firefox adblock plugin). I'm currently posting from school, with 800x600 res, and the forum is a lot more readable without the sidebars. A less interfering place would be above the quick reply box as someone suggested. As long as you don't put them on the side, and I'll be happy.
