Advanced gnvq, how many a levels?

I took an Advanced gnvq course a few years ago and completed it, i was told it was worth 2 a levels, is that correct? The job i am going for, officer in the Raf, the recruiters said that a gnvq level 3 course is only worth 1 a level, is that correct?

I have done a quick search on Google to clarify, but i couldn't find anything about how many it is worth? Can anyone clarify and link me to information about it?

It is worth 2 Alevels.

my btec is worth 4 a-levels and gnvq is half the level of btec so i'm guessing 2 a-levels

theyre vocational courses you take at college for 2/3 years

I thought a BTEC was just a GNVQ but under a different awarding body?
