Advanced video options and resolution always reset on start up.

Can any one assist me here?

Every time I load up source, my game starts up in 1024x768, and it never remembers my advanced video options. I can set them, play, exit, and every time i restart its back to the default.

Any idea how to fix this?

I have been trying to set it as 800x600, and
making my shader detail low,
shadows low,
antialiasing at 4x
filtering mode 2x,
Texture level medium
Model detail medium.

it never remembers these settings.

Are there commands I can add to my autoexec.cfg to keep these consistant? I would appreciate any help, and changing my settings every time I start cs:s is getting annoying.

Ha, i figured it out. I thought i had to have the dxlevel 8 in my command line constantly, and i dont, just once.

So that was forcing the reset constantly.
