Advent Children movie or game?

I was just wondering if Final Fantasy: Advent Children is a game or just a movie?
Also any idea on whether itll come out PC or PS2, when will it come out in Australia cause i dont know when America's summer is.

Sorry I'm not sure if it's a game either, but here in Canada I heard the movie was supposed to come out this March, must of got delayed or something because I don't see it in any stores.

As you know the PSP will have some movies for sale. this is one of them, and that's why it's making people so confused.

It's a movie and its been delayed loads of times. It'll come out on DVD and on the PSP, but i don't know when.

Anyway, FF7 was the best RPG for the Ps1, and now they're making a film set AFTER the game. There is no parallel game, or any other merchandise, It's simply a DvD and PsP movie.

Dirge of Cerberus is the Game (PS2) sequel to the original FF7 and to Advent Children, though how important the events of either are to this game is not clear. DoC isn't an RPG which is frankly strange.

Sadly, i'm not expecting much from either. Advent Children has to prove itself because... well, FF:TSW happened and I still have nightmares. Dirge of Cerberus simply doesn't interest me as its apparently a third person action game of some sort. Plus FF7 is overrated. Give me a FF6 sequel and I'd be in heaven. Shoot the voice "actors" for FF10 and i'll mother your children.

Even if that's biologically impossible.

Agree wholeheartedly with all of that, apart from FF7 being overrated. I spoke to someone who had played the Japanese language version of FF10 (he was fluent in Japanese, natch) and he said it was fantastic. I long for the day when Western developers realise that subtitles are a trillion times better, cheaper, and quicker, than abysmal dubs.

I also have friends who are drooling over the prospect of Advent Children. I would be but for FF:TSW. As it is, I simply don't have any expectations.

Well this movie is being made by Sqaure-Japan, Not America, which is where TSW was made. So i reckon it'll be an awesome movie. The trailers look awesome as it is.

Can't wait for this!
