Does anyone know a good free Adware killer? I've never had any before but lately I've been swamped by the stuff.

Addaware
spybot
regcleaner
stinger
cwsgredder
Check out all the program that are starting on startup.

You can use regedit or msconfig to do this. (start\run\regedit\msconfig)

Edit always make sure to keep addaware and spybot updated.

The combination of Adaware and Spybot kills about 85% of all spyware in existence. I only use those 2 programs on my computers because I don't need/want 50 different programs to cover the extra 15% for total protection. Most spyware can be avoided by making simple browsing habit changes and downloading programs (like windows update, antivirus software, firewall and switching browsers).

I have the problem right now. But, for some reason, my internet doesn't work and I have to reconfigure my network settings. I don't know how. ;(
I found the trial version of Spysweeper 2.2, used in conjunction with Spybot and Adaware, make a kick ass team.

Well for one thing it has so many holes in its' code that some websites can automatically upload crap on your pc without you knowing about it.
