Aeon Flux Videogame Cinematic Trailer - By Blur Studios

Could have been better.

I think you mean "pointless bit of fluff from stupid movie tie-in that doesnt even contain game footage and should not be viewed by anyone" , dont you?

Looks rediculous.

Of course its going to be over-the-top, it was based on an animated film. If they were limited by what could only happen in real life, it wouldn't be very interesting at all. Thus, action sequences have to exaggerated a bit.

There's "stylish" and then there's "stupid." An example of stylish is Kill Bill, where one woman kills probably around 50 people over a relatively long amount of time. An example of stupid is when one woman literally kills more people than the amount of bullets she fires while flying up a cyllindrical room.

It's not that, there's something about that trailer...

That's pretty much what I think. I like stylish fighting, but not rediculous, fancy, cliche stuff. In Kill Bill, the girl (I don't know her name), had style and did awesome moves.

I stand by my "pointless bit of fluff from stupid movie tie-in that doesnt even contain game footage and should not be viewed by anyone" remark.
Im not saying it looks bad , or stupid. Its like this , if you went to the movies and saw a trailer for a film, then you would expect the trailer to contain actual footage from the movie it was advertising, right?
The problem with the aeon flux game-trailer is , it doesnt contain any gameplay, just some pointless pre-rendered cgi .
Anyone foolish enough to think the game is going to look anything like that trailer is going to be very disappointed.

And about the over the top body count, that was a big part of the original cartoon, very tongue in cheek(and other places) and slightly perverse.

God that's great.

The got all the elements of the original animated version in there. The massive bodycount, Aeon's death at the end, etc.

Cool.

That looked great. Cant wait for the movie!

dude, its a "teaser!" they "TEASE YOU!" thats the whole idea behind a "TEASER!" you see it and thigk, hey this could be itneresting, and thats all they want, get your attention, show you soemtthing that you will remember, and when the real trailer comes out you'l think, hey, i remember i saw the teaser for that, lemme check this sjit out.

it isnt supposed to be the trailer for the movie!, trailes always contain movie footage, thats the point of a trailer, to let you see a small part of the film that containes a bit of story telling, action kalm moment, maint characters presentedm etc.

anyway, i found the flash to be alot more cooler and had alot more atmosphere then the movie itself

100% Agreed.

Well "dude" , may I suggest you look at the thread title?
It reads "Aeon Flux Videogame Cinematic Trailer" , said title may be correctly interpreted to refer to a trailer for the game "aeon flux" , dude.

You are sir, quite correct in this matter. It is indeed , not a trailer for the Aeon Flux movie, nor did I say that it was.
I can see how you were confused here, what I was using is commonly referred to as "analogy" where one draws paralells between two different things to make ones point more obvious(something which I have obviously failed at).

So in this instance I was referring to the lack of game-play footage in a trailer for a game. Yes ,I know this is all a bit complicated but with a little practise the english language proves itself to be remarkably versatile , dude .
