My dad and I don't get along so well and I'm becoming increasingly afraid that my dad is going to...."get rid of me" Just a few days ago he almost drowned me, he said it was an accident but I don't belive him. We keep getting into fist fights and it just keeps getting worse and worse. Don't get me wrong I love my dad am I blowing this out of Proportion or what? what should I do? I'm not worried that hes gonna hurt me I'm more worried that he's gonna give me up to child services.

No, if your dad tried to drown you, youare not blowing this out of proportion at all. In fact, if that is the case, it sounds like you aren't nearly as worried as you should be.

That said, I wouldnt recommend accusing him of attempted murder unless you're sure. If he is getting physically abusive, you should consider getting help.

ummm he cant "give you up to child services" ..in fact the only way that would happen would be if you were abused and child services took you away because you're in danger ...if you're a minor and he really does hit you (spanking isnt enough) then child services will help. He is legally responsible for you till you turn 16 (some countries 18) so he cant in any way get rid of you ...unless you mean in a mafia hit sorta way


if you're being abused you need help, perferably from an adult like a trusted teacher or a family member
