Afrika gameplay trailer

So it's basically more in depth first-person-picture-taking Zoo Tycoon 2.

I want.

Too bad it's for PS3.

I wouldn't mind seeing what will happen when I run into a pack (or whatever it is) of lions.

I will only play this if you get to **** the gal with the orange vest.

I will only play this if you get to **** up loads of animals with the front end and tyres of your jeep.

Man this looks lovely. Wish it wasn't just on the ps3. Also, all of the above.

Nice to see some gameplay footage of this game. I reckon I could spend a long while on this too.

When the video first started and that jeep was driving through the savanah I thought it had a .50cal on top of it. lol.

I am *this close* to importing this next week when it comes out. The language barrier might really hamper my good time though. Still, hopefully I can muddle through it and get a nice virtual vacation out of it. :)

I heard that many Japanese PS3 games also have English language Audio and Text options (such was the case for Siren). Might be worth looking into, because I'm tempted to port it too. Also:

lol?

Suicide bomber lioness?

Also, do PS3 games from Japan work on PAL consoles without any mods or anything?

Yes indeed. There is no region protection on PS3 games at all. Get them from wherever you like. I might even get the version from Asia as it is $5 cheaper than the version from Japan. Play-Asia.com has both. :) (Note the "No Region Protection" message by the price ;).)

Will have to check my copy of My Summer Vacation 3 again then. :E

Check this out:

http://www.amazon.com/Afrika-Playst..._1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1219428020&sr=8-1

This item will be released on December 31, 2008.

Although the dates are rarely correct, why would Amazon allow you to preorder it is it wasn't coming to the US?
Yeah, hard to say. IGN also says TBA 2009 which is better than nothing at all for the EU listed. Maybe with the whole National Geographic relationship it will gain a worldwide audience, but I would not bet on it outside of Japan for the time-being. The question is: How long can I wait? :(

Looks the same as this but with better graphics:

Um, firstly, I would not call those better graphics at all. Secondly, there just doesn't seem to be a game in there whereas Afrika at least has an exciting photographic resume-building sim and ultra-cool camera upgrade system in it!!

The sentence can be read both ways. I meant Afrika had better graphics.

And if you think those two are "exciting" gameplay features, than you need help. This game will get boring after 10 minutes.

You speak as if you've had the experience playing this game required to make that claim. But no, you don't. It's not even out in Japan yet.

Hello? It's called difference of opinion.
