After latest patch, lag issues in bot games?

I had resently did System Matience, finishing off with a defrag.
Decided to play CS:S since I haven't played in awhile. I got this patch. But I've noticed moderate lag in firefights that never happened before.
This happens to even the default maps.

And this is on a bot game. 15 bots. System specs are in sig.
Dunno where this lag is coming from but it's making it unenjoyable to play now.
