Aftermath Wallpaper and others...

That's actually pretty good. I think I jound me a new desktop.

They are mostly just normal pictures with Photoshop filters applied. Some are still pretty good though. I like the brownish colored ones that makes it look kinda black and white, because it fits the mood good.

And the Dark-Streets one, I like the scribbly lines on it, but they are a little too... neet. Make them a bit more random. Its a good idea, but you need to work on it some more.

Good stuff overall.

A good example of how to use photoshop; the images look very dark and menacing- and while not over-doing it, the scratches and borders imply an old, worn out photo. Maybe this represents that HL2 has passed, and is now just a fading memory? Whatever you wanted to signify, they look great.

You have found a great style, everyone of these wallpapers are brilliant .D

Thanks!

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I enjoyed making them because, frankly, I'm a little obsessed with HL2 at the moment (ever since it came out actually, but since you're on this forum reading this right now, you probably are too). Feel free to check out my website (here) if you want.

Well... its also in your sig, so I dont think you really needed to add the 'here' link...

Anyway, was your site made in flash by any chance?

Im looking at it now... if you did all that by yourself, then... well...
HOLY SHIT
...is all I can think of to explain your greatness.

Yes, I did make it all in Flash and it's all of my own creation, so thanks.

If post count is any indication, then I'm roughly 410 times as obsessed as you. :D

I like the wallpapers despite that they're essentially screenshots with a few filters applied... still damn good looking.

You also use Bryce dont you? But all your stuff is awsome... how old are you anyway?

My thoughts exactly; Nice work :D

Mike,
I do use Bryce occasionally... Despite its very limited modeling tools, it has some great ways of making custom textures and materials (I mostly use Cinema 4D for 3D modeling and animation). BTW, I am 24.

Cool. How long have you been doing stuff like that? And do you have a job related to that kind of stuff?

I've been doing art since I was born and digital art ever since I got a computer. I picked up Photoshop 4.0 when I was a Freshmen in High School and it has since been my favorite program. Recently I just started doing Freelance/Independent Contract Graphic Design.

Some very nice work there. They all would be great for desktops minus the sig, but I fully understand why you put them on there.

Great work man, keep it up.
