Deleted all my fav.s from the server out of game from this last 'update'. I'm just pissed off now, I'm keeping a written copy of the ips of the server I want on my fav.s. Steam is just so damn unreliable :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown:

I don't play favorites.

Lawl, the pun thread is wearing off on me.

I play favorites. However, Steam constantly erase the favorites from the lists. I have already forgotten what are favorites in the recent days.

I only used Steam to play fan-made source engine games. I already given up hope on Counter-strike:Source and Half-life 2. The OP has the same cases like me, in CS:S, Steam deleted all my favourites and I had to waste time reput them again but in the end, still got deleted.

And Half-life 2? Keeps on crashing and lagging, a failed prototype I say.

For now, I would enjoy other source-engine games than Half-life 2, and I shall use Half-life 2 as a cannon fodder for source-engine games.

How can HL2 be a "failed prototype" when there are millions of people playing it without any difficulty. Just because you have problems with it does not mean that it is a global flaw. Get some perspective.

You speak pure manure.

Naw, it's a local dialect :p

Steam is great, but deleting faves is not cool :frown:

Sorry for my ignorance, but imo, it keeps on crashing, but maybe the others will be fine but for me, it keeps on crashing.

Well, I am currently playing a source engine game The Island (Remake of HL1 engine game "Dead Sector").

Mong? wtf drack, are you a 13 year old chavette?!

And as far as I know, right click steam and click 'Servers' and then 'Favourites' and they should all still be there.

Just did, they're not there :|
And I tried to re-enter them....THEY WONT!

DeathMaster, I find it funny how you complain about Steam yet you don't bother to search on the Steam forums?

1. Start CS : Source
2. Click on "Find Servers"
3. Click on the "Favourites" tab
4. Click on the "Change Filters" button
5. Drop down the "Anti-cheat" list and select "Secure"
6. Quit CS : Source
7. Start up CS : Source again
8. Click on "Find Servers"
9. Click on the "Favourites" tab
10. Click on the "Refresh" button"

My fav.s are already still in game, maybe you didn't understand my first post...

That means when I click on the steam icon in the taskbar and click on servers, the fav.s don't exist and somereason I cannot add any fav.s by inputting ip or from the internet listing either. I prefer to check the servers from out of game because if none of the servers have what I consider a decent amount of people in them, I started up the game for nothing.

EDIT: Ok Some reason I was able to add the servers back on after trying the same thing a few times over, that being entering the IP. Seems like persistence is the only thing that helped, O well :rolling:
