Age of Conan confirmed for Xbox360

Durham, USA ? December 12, 2006 ? Funcom announces that ?Age of Conan? is approved for Microsoft?s Xbox 360 console. The announcement means that the highly anticipated Massively Multiplayer Online game (MMO) has received the green light from Microsoft, and that Funcom can start official development of an Xbox 360 version of the game.

the gist of it: action low fantasy (no stupid elves, gnomes, orcs) Mature rated MMO (decaptitations/gore, drunken brawling, some nudity), mounted combat (swing a sword from horseback or you a javelin), seige combat against player controlled cities, large scale formation combat, quest system is tied to the lore; wont be kill 20 rats, collect 20 tails type of WoW quests

Looking good, I give them alot of credit for doing that E3 video In-Game. Now if it were a cinimatic, then I would have expected alot more but hell, its pre-beta!

I liked Anarchy Online (Funcom's last MMO) played it for quite a while while I waited for Horizons which turned out to be a huge dissapointment.

decaptitations while on horseback, real time combat, player city building, seige warfare etc will ensure I play this for a long time ..cant ditch the wife/kids so I'll just have to play from the time she goes to bed till the time I go to work ..all I need is a huge pot of coffee and I'm set

That vid looks like it will require a seriously beefy rig man. I knew I was going to have to upgrade next year, but I didn't know it would be so necessary for this! Oh well, the birds (or giant snakes) I can kill with my one stone the better!

it's a vista showcase title meaning dx10 support ..although might not be at launch so it will definately support dx9 ..it will run on current hardware, the last video shown was running on a 7900gt I believe
