Ok, here is the situation...I have a bridge that i want to be able to open with the push of a button (thats not the prob, keep reading)...

Anyways i need it to open downwards (like the opposite of a bridge that allows ships to pass) - I have the bridge set as a rotating door and i have moved the origin to the edge where it connects to the road - however no matter what i set the yaw, rotate, etc values at - the bridge goes crazy...

I got it set up so that it started pointed down like i wanted (besides being open) but when i triggered it, it went haywire...do i need hinges or something else...Please help!

Well when you say haywire, what do you mean? Does it go backwards, up, left, or just jumps around moving in any direction?

This is what i know from past versions of worldcraft rather than this new hammer, but doors like you need operate by having 3 origin points, the origins being the 'hinges'. Basically (i cant look right now - steam is taking its time to update) there should be 3 different origin textures in the texture folder, or something similar. Apply 1 and 2 to the corners of the bridge where it meets the road, and put a origin 3 at the other end of the bridge, in the middle. Try this, or different combinations of this...and set the opening angle of the bridge to -80 or whatever, so it opens downwards.

Also i dont think it needs to be a rotating door, just a normal one...Sorry if none of this works, just thinking off the top of my head

Haywire = Seems to rotate around all axis' and goes crazy - i will try the origin thing and post again in a while...
Any other ideas I will greatly appreciate...

Sorry to bump but eh....HELP if you can (real important)
