I'm pretty sure that I have installed the 6800 256mb on the agp slot, but when i look into the configuration i got this wierd stuff(see the pic), is there anything wrong ? if so, how can i fix it ?

If it fit in, you got it in the ightslot. If it booted, you got it in the right slot.

try uninstalling and reinstalling drivers if it bothers you.

i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling many time, but it doesn't work, and also i ran the the 3dMark03 test, it said my current agp state is 0x and that my card is on a pci slot. I think that lower the performance of the computer. plz help, how do i twick this thing in the bio or somewhere else ??

Well if you can get the computer to boot up it means that it is in the right slot. Did you have any graphic cards before this? Did you make sure any trace of it was removed? Err I guess the best thing to ask is are you getting bad performance with it? I mean if it isn't having problems/bad performance then it could just be a simple bug. To change the AGP state, reset the computer, hit whatever key it is to get into the BIOS, then look around there for the AGP #x one. If you did and it still isn't recognizing it correctly the best thing to do is format.

that sounds helping.

Yes, I had an 64mb integrated intel extreme graphics controller before I bought the new one. Since it's integrated in the mobo, I can't remove it, all I can do is to uninstall its drivers in the configuration and with the driver cleaner.

yes, i'm getting bad performance, the lowest fps i got in css is 16, in aqamark, my score is about 29000 which is quite low. My spec is p4 2.4, 512 ram and gf6800 256mb.

In the 3DMark03, it shows my AGP Rates (Current/Available) 0x / 1x, 2x, 4x

I went into the bios several times yestoday trying to find out the AGP #x thing, but I didn't find any, what can I do ?

Yup something is definitely f*cked up. Get the latest drivers for your motherboard.

lol, no, don't do that.

In BIOS there should be a tab for "configuration" or somethign similar. In there should be both the AGP rates as well as the AGP apature size.

Have you pluged the moniter into the graphics card? Cause i did that once and couldn't work out what was wrong LOL.
