Ok ok...breathe....um. None of my games work cuz for some reason my AGP memory is off. I have a 9800 pro 128. I just reformatted my comp too. Yes i have the latest drivers as well. every time i set it to 4x it restarts and i go back and its off again! Why doesnt it work? and according to the properties its in a pci slot, but its not!! HELP! :rolling: :frown:

Have you changed anything in the bios?
Yep I second that about the bios, could well be the problem.. Or the cards not fitted properly into the MB

1. Check you bios for information qith IRQ and AGP/VGA/PCI and change it to AGP.
2. Make sure your AGP isn't in a pci slot (hehe)
2.5. Disable any onboard graphics.
3. Check wires leading from the pci slots out and agp slots(s) out check for scratches, burn marks, etc.
4. Reinstall windows(2nd), reinstall drivers(1st)
5. Return the card/mobo.

Card seating is not the issue or he would be complaining about 2 beeps(init bios error), 8 beeps(graphics error), 2 beeps(end bios error) on another computer altough reseat the card as well.

oh so thats what those 2 beeps are? when i start my comp i get the usual one beep ive always heard, then i hear BEEP BEEP. and then my comp starts normally. whats the problem?

the beeps are code, telling you if you have an error. For me two beeps means I have parity errors. For you it may be different. Check your MB manual for the full info.

Ok my bios needed and update now theres no more beeps. But my video card problem, I got it to go on 4x and games start now, but they all get an error and my comp restarts on its own! :( someone pleaseeeeeeeee!
