AIM Problemo - can't send/recieve

I can't send/recieve files on AIM nor can I Direct Connect with anyone. I don't have firewall so I'm not sure what the heck is going on.
Any suggestions on what to do? I'll try them all :3

I've had the problems too. I'm not quite sure how to fix it but I changed some things in my AIM settings and it worked I *think* this will fix that problem with most of the people your trying to connect and send files too. Go to My AIM, Edit Options, Edit Prefernces, Go to File Transfer, Click Firewall, Then choose the second option "Outgoing, and AOL proxy server." Do the same thing with Direct IM and click apply. This should help. Also, make sure you have the latest AIM and that the person your trying to send things to has the latest too. Hope this helps.
