So our router shorted the other day, so I got out my old Airlink 101 Super G as a stand by. Not trying to go wireless, all the computers in the house are connected directly. The router worked when I used it a year ago, but when I hooked it up now, it wont connect to the internet. Is this a problem with the router or the modem/isp? I did all the things I could think of, like resetting the router and modem, updated the routers firmware, checking to make sure the cables work, I went to the support site and it just tells me the basics for trouble shooting (turn everything off, wait 5 min, turn it back on... which I did, and it still doesnt work).
When I log into the router and check out the status page, this is what I get:
The modem works if I just connect one PC to it, but is there something else that might be causing this than just a busted router? any help would be appreciated.
