yellow!

My thoughts exactly. :p

Spray it black with an orange lambda, and itd look kickass. Alienware + Valve, what a combo. Or should that be COMBINE-ation ;)

/me wants! To bad I dont live in Europe... I would gladly pay for shipping if I won. Oh well I entered anyways.

You can keep that thing away from my bank balance!

Can get a better for less wher I live ;) But perhaps Alienware has some serious unknown tweaking skills I don't know of? Had some problems registering my DOB though. They didn't use the format we have in Sweden...

Don't buy alienware.. they have horrible support.

You can build a computer that is just as good for much less anyways...

Don't like the colour.

But the hardware inside it is obviously sexy.

It seems cheap, the Fx cpu's, 2 gigs of 4200 ram is expensive stuff. I expected a machine like that to be atleast £3000 inc tax. Then again 2 and a half is quite allot of money. Screw the yellow, i'd change the case to a CoolerMaster Wave case, if i had that money...

I know many women like that... oh I mean yeah, I want that computer.

- Manga :imu:

Heh. Nice hardware and all, but its really expensive. A student like meself couldn't afford that :/

how are you supposed to enter your DOB it keeps saying not a valid one. this is what i put in each box.

Code:
09 29 1985

day and month the other way round, this is the UK!

Very nice system. I hate the case though. I haven't read the post except for the system spec... But I'm wondering if they give you atleast Hl2 with it... Or you still have to bought it? :D

For that price they'd better give you the collector edition with it.

I think it'll hardly sell. It's colour sucks and it's too expensive. :D

whats this DOB they ask for in competition? I don't see an explanation anywhere...

Alienware = THey get the most expensive components and they throw it into a beautiful fashion case.

Get a life. Use your money wisely, or at least, build a computer and smash it into pieces

holy shit i want this PC!

OMG look at the price - correction : i dream about this PC!

i vote all members registered on hl2.net before spt 03 to get this comp sent for free

Date of birth...

"Valve insisted on a capacious 2GB of system RAM"

No doubt they insisted on the ATI graphics card/motherboard combo to...
And that price is insane, as people said before, you can build a system with those specs for half the price.

Why is it SD ram ?
That sucks penis....

SDRAM = Super Dynamic Random Access Memory

AND WTF!??!!?! Who in their right mind is going to shell out $5,400.58 Canadian or $4,532.59 USD for a system like that?? I can easily build one very very similiar for $2000 less CDN.

Yellow???? :| :| :| :O   :frown: :| :O

TOO MUCH!!

if you goto the configurator you can change the system from the horrible yellow to any of the other colours available...

Only one thing is better in my PC - the case :p. Well but I'd rather have Alienware's PC because of the insides. I answered the question and it brought me to alienware's page without any notification my answer was accepted but I guess it's allright :). (Maybe I answered wrong - it's F-Man right? *joke*)

wow.. how much is that again in Canadian Dollars? :O
the more power to the pple who can afford this thing..

Go 64 bit AMD man, I've found the 64 bits to bottleneck the x800's less than the pentiums.

That's nice hardware, but what's up with that price ? I would never pay that much for it.

Pfft. What a rip off. You could build that computer with all of those parts and get a flat screen monitor too for less money. You don't need the fancy case or color.

All mine needs is a X800XT. I have a A64 FX-51 though, not a 55. :|

have you guys noticed how the Doom 3 recomended one is a way better computer?

Good news!!! means almost anyone can play hl2!!

Or perhaps D3 needs a huge amout of power, and to get the best out of HL2 you will need one big mother f***er of a system
