Favourite Alienware Colour

what is your favourite Alienware colour?
this i to help me with my decison for when i order mine :)

Silver...gotta go with silver. But I still say don't go with pre-built...you would save a lot of money.

yeah, Alienware are way too overpriced...build it yourself and save hundreds

i know Prebuilt are expensive - butthis is an Alienware :)
ive always wanted one

Guaranteed, I can build atleast two of the exact same systems (minus the case) for the cost they charge for one

Regardless of the price - Alienware cases are vomit inducingly bad!

If, by some stroke of luck, I were to win an Alienware pc, and wasn't allowed to sell it, i'd imediately buy a new case. Then, it'd be time to remove any traces of the Alienware brand name - it's just not good for your street cred :)

(seriously though - if you have 4000 pounds to spend on a pc, don't get an Alienware. You could get such a sweet pc for that money - don't waste it :) )

Can you say RIP OFF? Dude don't buy Alienware, you'll only get ripped AT LEAST $1500, if you use that money you can build your self a computer better than an Alienware and save THOUSANDS.

Buy the parts and assemble. It will save you thousands. My new comp is alienware equivalent, amd64 3200, gig 3200 ram, 9800 pro 256, raid array and piles of other crap for under 2000 dollars.

You could build three alienware equivalent computers if you ordered the parts online and built it yourself. Plus you'd be a lot prouder of your comp, and be much less intimidated by the inside of a computer in the future.

i know how to build computers - i built this one im on now

and now im warming again to building my own again - and gettin a case made for me

Is money not an issue for you then? Why the hell would you want a custom made case? Buying parts = cheaper, but not if you blow it all on a custom case. Just get a nice case. I'm a big antec supporter. Whatever.

what i want to know is -
now VOODOO and ALIENWARE are going to implement more than 1 graphics card in the computer via Graphics Array or SLI , will normal customers (non prebuilt customers) be able to buy this type of product without buying a pre built comp?

I'm guessing there will be special motherboards supporting dual-video cards, as well at the video cards, available to the public later on, but make sure your up to ponying up all that cash for it though.

i dont really like whats on the market -
so i mite get a case and get it professionally modded - eg custom paint job atc

btw what the best way to cool my comp if i make my own? ef liquid? what is best make? etc

I like black.. shame you can only get the pearlescent paint from the US site [although id never pay £300 for a case no mayyer how prudy iti s :P]

btw where the hell did u get £4000+ from Ive looked at alienwares site a good few times and ucan get their top rig for 2k
