Is your isp giving you bad pings? I've seen loads of people with bad pings on CS:s. They usually have pings of 30, but when their connection is ****ed it goes right up to 100+. My internet is really slow too

I think everyone has decided to do their Christmas shopping online :/

I played on a server with 200+ ping, i suffered a slight stutter in movement. I still managed to play the game alright.

But why the hell would I be the only one lagging? All these other peeps have the same connection speed (2mb) and have perfectly fine pings most of the time. I, on the other hand, have to suffer with my ping suddenly rising high every 30-60 minutes -_-

My dad won't change ISPs because he thinks it's because;

You all suck, my average ping ranges from 70 - 500. And no, its not wireless, its DSL 512k. GOOD OL IDAHO NET!

He maybe right, there are peak-times. Try playing at different times of the day, i.e night time when everybody's asleep.

It just could be a case of the ports that are open on your router. Look into that.
