so ive just about finalized my order for my new pc and wanted to know if it looks good.

Maybe you should go for 2gb of ram. I don't know alot about what you're ordering but I do know that you should match the athlon and the geforce with some good ram.

get it. accept the power supply. Get an Antec NeoPower 480 watts. It has detacabled cables, and all the power cables come netly braided in black and red mix.

600 dollar graphics card and at least that much for the CPU and only 1GB of ram. Thats crazy talk.

thats what i originaly planned to do, but my sister works at bestbuy so i can get the 7800 gt for about $360 and shes quiting on saturday. So i can save a shitload of cash and still have a next gen GPU by getting the 7800GT.

Go for it. I don't think you can go wrong with a 7800.

When the 6800/X800 cards were coming out the X800pro looked a bit better and I was going to wait for that but we got the 6800GT cards in first at Compusa. I jumped on that instead of waiting and I don't think I made a bad choice.

youve had that for quite some time.. how much was that 6800gt when you bought it asus?
