Aluminium or Copper ?

Well, I imagine you're not painting it over, so copper would do better, but it also depends on the rest of your case.

Aluminum vs copper:

Aluminum:

Pros: easy to work, easy to find, easy to polish. Will not tarnish.
Cons: Looks like virtually every other metal.

Copper

Pros: Unique look, easy to polish to a mirror finish.
Cons: Will tarnish black if not coated or polished.

Titanium looks really cool. If its burnished it turns this dark metalic color quite unlike anything else. Its also surprisnigly light.

I have a titanium watch and a steel watch. The titanium watch is larger in every respect but is lighter in weight than the steel one.

yeh its a good idea if you have the money.. if you had a case built out of titanium alloy, it would most certainly be the lightest, and be protected for all time from kicks, and hits,, perhaps even the odd gunshot
