Alyx lied to me!?

In the first Nova Prospekt control room with two turrets, where you set them up to shoot the guards, the turrets shoot me not them! I did this a few months ago and it was fine, but I had to do a system restore and I lost a lot of progress, so now I'm redoing it. Everything else in the game has worked fine, but I'm getting pretty angry trying to kill all these guys with no help from the turrets.

Any ideas? Thanks!

lol thats funny. have you tried reinstalling??? never hurts to try stuff. also place your saved games somewhere.

I bought the game off Steam, so I don't have an install CD. I tried validating the game file, and checking Steam performance -- no problems found.

Can I delete local content and then reinstall without buying it again?

Yeah. It's part of your steam account.

It's attached to your account, so you can uninstall/delete/redownload/install all you want.
