Usually it's hot in my room. A lot hotter than most of the other rooms for some reason. I have no idea why, but it just is. We have AC at around 72F so summer heat isn't really the problem.
My normal idle temperatures in my PC ranged around 50C for the GPU, 40C for the CPU and an unsustained system temperature. These are fine. At load, each would jump about 10-12C for the GPU (60C) and about 5 or 6 for the CPU (45C). These are all still fine.
Tonight I've come to realize that, even though you may have an awesome cooling system, the ambient temperatures are what it's all about. Maybe you all knew this but, to me, these temperatures surprized me.
Tonight, the temperatures outside dropped to 50F (quite chilly) and I still have my window open. So the temperature in my room is around that. At full load, my GPU was at 44C and my CPU was at 34C. ****ing amazing. At idle, my GPU is at 39C and my CPU at an astonishing 28C.
Maybe I'm just stupid or ignorant but these temps are outstanding.
