I have read and been told that the AMD 1800+ should run at the speed of 1.53 GHz. However, my system is only running my 1800+ at 1111 GHz. I built my computer to save money last year but now I not sure if I did it correctly. Can anyone help get my chip speed up to normal? Thank you so much!

Sounds like your multiplier is off in the BIOS.

You want it at FSB speed 133, and a multiplier of 11.5.

Go check the BIOS and, if that's not set like that, change it so it is.

It was my front side bus. And I have a XP 1700+ that runs at 1.47MHz. My world is crashing down. I suck.

Thanks for your help Shuzer.
