Amd 1800+

Anybody running CS:Source with a Radeon 9600 and upwards and using an AMD 1800+ CPU?If you are, give me an idea of the kind of performance you are getting. That would be , well, just super!

1600+(1,4 ghz) connect3d 9600xt 512mb sdram, internet connection isdn. My fps is about 5-30 and most of the time it is unplayable because of the processor cant handle exploding barrels. Settings are medium, those are recommended for my system.No AA or AF .

Beetween 800x600 and 1024x768 resolution doesnt kind of change the fps. On thing lags my game too is my connection, isdn just cant handle cs:s netcode because of those flying barrels and allkind of moving objects. So atleast for me the game is unplayable but luckily I'm updating to a64 system soon . Okay you can play about 16 players server but up to that atleast for me its getting so laggy and fps is so bad. Cant hit shit.

In the end I think that you are not be able to get smooth 30-xxx fps performance with that 1800+. I wrote this in a hurry so the text can be messy.
