AMD, INTEL AND What else AND WHo's better or the best ??

I'm a computer noob, I only know intel, but i heard people saying that AMD out-perform intel and the price is also cheaper. Is that true ??

Just buy whatever you want. Both brands are useable. It's all a matter of taste IMO.

Id recomend getting an AMD Athlon 64, that way you will totally pwn when the 64 clients comes out for hl2, doom 3 and far cry. But whatever you do dont do what many nerds do and become emotinally atached to your processor, like my pal here-

Dont become either a AMD or a pentium freak, it really is sad. Its like saying I got a blue carpet but youve got a red one and blue totally pwns. It really dosent matter that much.

Yeah definitely Athlon 64 2800+ is awesome, and only $144 retail on newegg.com. Grab one of those.
