AMD...So Damn Good

Okay, so AMD is the best processor manufacturer like ever. Can anyone actually tell me what make their FX-55 processor so good and how it compares to Intels 3.8 Ghz processor?

This is what I got now...I think its time to upgrade. I got alot of money to burn so I ordered this from Alienware...

2 GB ram
nVidia 6800GT 256 mb
3.8 GHz processor

So would the FX-55 processor outperform my 3.8 GHz intel one?
