AMD VS INTEL .. basically what you think ?

lol only becasue you got some meathead dual cores .. or is that gut feeling ?

Simple argument really. They are both CPU companies. Intel has most of the market share. They both make processors. Intel currently makes better mobile processors. AMD makes better desktop single and dual core CPUs. I buy and sell only the fastest and most cost efficient chips currently available. If AMD creates better mobile parts I will buy theirs. If Intel takes the lead in desktop performance I will buy their product. Simple as that!

Nar I just think they make better CPUs. :bounce:

Yeah think i do too - also cheaper

What type of FPS you get in say CS Devvo ?

Usually something like 80-90 I think... don't play too often!

ah right. Just wondered cos this is my new rig that im getting soon, and wondering what kind of fps it'll blow out - i was thinking maybe 80 but seeeing yours is 80-90 id think less

(my sig = new rig)

Anything above 45FPS is comfortable really, and your rig will be well above that!

EDIT: Consider upgrading that to 2GB of RAM at some point to ensure it flys :D

Well my Rig:
AMD athlon 3000+
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (128mb)
512mb corsair DDR333 PC2700 RAM

Puts out 50 in battle. But then again I play on the lowest settings.

Yeah think so i get around 30-40 now and im using a sempron and some 5700 le hoping to build a second comp as this mobo is old and not using sata :D:D so should have 2

erm ill be ordering it after Xmas after the rush of cash into my account and ofc the sales.

some from www.overclockers.co.uk and other sites like ccl etc

Good plan! Overclockers UK is a good site and so's CCL

AMD, less heat, more performance and better memory handling :)

Huzzar, and so, the tale of AMD was told.

Goodnight

EDIT: I'm not really going to sleep ahaha :P

I like amd a lot more. I find intel CPU's to be way overpriced.
