EDIT: Okay, I must say i'm feeling rather bummed about this thing. Nowhere near able to compete with Family Guy. Aren't shows supposed to improve as you write new ones?

I may just be being a bit harsh, but I didn't find it all that terribly funny, and the animation/characters were kinda silly for me.

I guess i'm going to be forever stuck in my Family Guy world.

Gotta say im not too impressed with it, very Family Guy. BUT, but, its just a pilot, and im sure the first time people saw Family guy they weren't impressed much neither. So I'll reserve judgement. Afterall some of the Family Guy episodes were pretty naff, not many though.

I don't use it, but it's street lingo/slang here for close buddies I guess.

I kinda figured maybe the UK term you used was similiar to the slang here, but I guess I was wrong, since you just mean people who live with you.

Reminded me of some mediocre Family Guy episodes I've seen. Yeah. Laughed a few times. But it looks way too much like Family Guy, I mean, a husband and wife, with a daughter and son, and a weird talking pet and an alien. Why doesn't he just stick to Family Guy, more money? I mean, Matt Groening did something somewhat different with Futurama.

Ooo this looks cool... I kinda wish they would just make alot of new family guy episodes, but hey, remember the real old simpson episodes? They kinda sucked, so maybe American Dad will turn out like them in the end... except the newest simpsons suck now... but you know what I mean...

One of the reasons it looks like Family Guy in some respects is because Seth MacFarlane has said it himself the two families may meet. So they're set in the same world sorta.
