American Idol, Season 7

Anyone else watching? I'm not usually THIS hyped over the show, but something about Jason Castro has caught my attention. His performance on 60's night was my favorite of any american idol EVER. Plus: dreadlocks. <3

I also really like Carly Smithson. She seems pretty hardcore (owns a tattoo shop and is also a bartender), yet nice at the same time, and she can really sing.

I REALLY hope Amanda and Danny get voted off next week. UGH. I liked Amanda at first (hey, born and raised in Kokomo, IN, where I lived before moving to Vegas), but she gets worse and worse with her performances, and her hair is just godawful.

Danny Noriega is just an annoying little douchebag.

I dunno, everyone else seems kinda forgettable to me. :/ 'Cept maybe Chakezie. :3

EDIT: DUH, how could I forget David Archuletta??? He's REALLY good.

American Idol and the likes are the biggest tv piss takes of all time, not to mention the people who win are shite anyway. If they were really that good they would attempt to achieve glory by going from the ground up like most other bands.

PS: American Idol blows. No respect for people who get selected on their looks and based on how good a cover of some crappy love song they can do. Put some bands on the show, doing ORIGINAL stuff.

Screw all these people taking a spotlight that should be aimed at people with real talent who write their own stuff and play their own music.
