American power supplys..?

I've found this really great american computer website with really good deals on it. Although if i ever got one shipped over (im in England). It wouldnt work would it? I mean don't the americans have differnet voltage or somthing? If someone could help me out, that would be much apreciated, thanks!

every powersupply i've ever seen has a voltage selector on the back.....(you can choose 115 or 220 i believe...)

Yeah, you can almost always select between 115 and 220, but I'm not sure if you'd be safe getting one because the standards and everything might be all changed. But whatever you do, don't do what I did and set the voltage to 220 while trying to troubleshoot why your computer won't turn on. Lot's of smoke!
