I dunno, might make this a regular thing, who knows.

Trying to pick out some movies that aren't getting a lot of mainstream attention just yet and ones I'm really looking forward to.

Babel

Not sure exactly where they'll take the "universal language" they talk about but a man's (Brad Pitt) woman gets shot in a foreign country, huge international incident begins. Makes me think Crash due to the multiple angles with multiple race issues that seem like they'll be brought up.

The Fountain

Follows a theme of immortality through multiple time periods and a couple. Can't quite piece together exactly what is going on, but I like what I see. Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz.

Stranger Than Fiction

A woman with writer's block is trying to kill off a character. Will Ferrell plays the character that happens to be a real person that she is about to kill. Gonna be a funny Will Ferrell comedy seeing as he begins to hear the writer's author voice in his head and finds out about his impending doom.

Renaissance

The thing that draws my attention to this movie is the animation and art style. It's a black and white animated cell-shaded (I think) movie based in a future Paris where a company is completely involved in all aspects of life (1984-esque anyone?).

Flags of Our Fathers

The one I'm looking forward to the most. Set in WWII around the events of Iwo Jima and how that famous photograph changed a lot. The men in the photo deal with their "hero" status.

The interesting thing about this movie is - another movie around the same events by the same people is coming out a few months later. They were filmed at the same time even. The 2nd film will follow the Japanese side of events.

Anyways, hope you guys like the trailers. I linked to the HD ones where I could.

Children of Men
Borat
The Science of Sleep
and, of course, Casino Royale!

I agree that The Fountain, Babel, and Reanissance all look great though.
