'An Overclocker's Dream'

For $89 that would be great to have that OC. I probably would go that route if I just gamed on my PC.
(But I need the stability and warranty.)

I OC'd my quad core to 3GHz on that fancy cooler. I could go much more but I like 3GHz. Heck I didn't even add any extra voltage, just changed the multiplier to 2x.

I had a bit of trouble getting past 3.2 with my first 6600 but I traded it with a mate who got one of the first shipments of chips and had no problem getting past 3.2.

Success isn't guaranteed and any overclocking benefits are only a bonus.

It seems as though the unlucky people are being limited to around 2.8 gig, which i'd be perfectly happy with. Most are getting better results, which would be a bonus. I'm only considering one because they're so cheap and, even if you get a 'bad one', will more than equal the performance of a 6600 at stock.

There have been quite a few chips in which substantial overclocking benefits are pretty much guaranteed - T-Birds, mobile Bartons etc. These look even better.
