Dear Parent,

In the next few days, your son will receive confirmation of his nomination to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on Technology, to be held this summer in Silicon Valley, California.

Allow me to offer my personal congratulations on Matt's achievements. You certainly must be very proud.

The National Youth Leadersip Forum first became aware of Matt through his participation in the Student Search Service sponsored by the College Board.

While academic promise is the first consideration in choosing participants, the Forum also seeks students who will contribute to the special strength and character of the program.

We expect to enroll an outstanding group of young men and women from a variety of backgrounds and with a broad range of interests and goals. We hope your son will choose to join the highly motivated and accomplised students.

I know you must have a number of questions regarding Matt's participation in the Forums. Safety, supervision and finances, for example, are always important considerations. You will find detailed information regarding these and many other issues in the package Matt will receive shortly.

During ten intense days, Matt will be challenged, motivated and inspired in a way unlike any other.

I commend the National Youth Leadership Forum on Technology to you without qualification.

Sincerely,
John Haines
Chairman

P.S. As a parent you are probably eager to know more about what your son will gain through his participation in the Forum on Technology.

To learn more about the Forum and its benefits, please visit www.nylf.org/tech/testimonials. There you will find written and audio testimonials from parents whose children have attended the Forum, plus an exciting short video featuring students from the Forum on Technology.

Wow. I'm quite excited and pleased with this letter. This is cool! :D

I got an invitation to that last year, but I wasn't able to go. A friend of mine did go however, and he said he enjoyed it.

what is it?
Its a letter... It's kind of like e-mail but its printed out on paper and then sent via trucks to people's homes.

Barbaric, i know.

I got two of those in my sophomore and junior years. I didn't go, didn't feel like dishing out 2 grand for a 1 week trip. My friends who have went said it was fun, so I hope you have a good time ;)

'Go', but secretly spend the money on something else. ;)

Don't listen to whatever propaganda they spout.

LIES LIES.

Why? Is it not the truth? I mean, no truer words have ever been spoken by you before. :p
