Look for spray ideas for animated sprays. Links to animated gifs would be a great help. All completed sprays will be posted on www.spraylogos.co.uk

I use a great little program called ulead gif animator 5. creates gifs from any movies files (avi mpeg etc...) you can resize and crop to any size you want and output the gifs as single jpgs or pngs too!!! I find this essential when doing css sprays.

Okay this is driving me crazy. I made an animated spray and followed the directions at spraylogos.co.uk down to the letter. Its the right file size, everything is in the right folders. It should be fine, but instead, when I try to spray, nothing appears! You can only hear the spray noise. What gives?

what appears when you select the spray in the spray selector? what are the dimensions of the image? what is the actuall file size of the vtf file? Did you edit the Spray.txt (or whatever the txt file is in the materialsc folder) accordingly? This has happened to me before, sadly i never cared to find the cause... i suggest remaking it.

Convert your gif or animated file into a square with sides divisible by 16 - eg. 128x128, 64x64, 92x92... you can use 256x256, but you will only be able to fit in 2-3 frames, so i don't reccomend it.

If your .vtf file is over 120kb, you will have to go back and edit the amount of frames you have of the size of your frames until they are under 120kb, otherwise you will not be able to use the spray.

Okay, mine was 256 x 256 so I lowered all the targa slides to 128 pixels. I basically went through the whole process over again and it still doesn't work :(
