Anime...I'm still forming an opinion

Well, I just watched AKIRA and i thought it was pretty good. I think that anime has progressed since 1988 (when Akira was made) maybe the voice acting in anime improved since then (I'm not sure) It's pretty cool. Anyone have any suggestions on any other good anime movies? I'm pretty new to the genre. Thanks

Hellsing is a cool 13 episode series with great animation and a cool storyline revolving around Britain and zombies and all that good stuff.

I hate it, but then I saw Cowboy Bepop which is nice. Good drawings and nice use of shadows and lighting. Good stories too

I'm not really big on Anime, but GHost in the Shell is superb. Its so well animated and I love the storyline =)
