Annabelle/Plasma Rifle glitch

Well, it's a fine state I'm in. I can't equip a plasma rifle to save my life. No matter how many of them I spawn, or which npc I spawn them with, I can't pick one up.

I think this might be due to the fact that I spawned myself an Annabelle shotgun before trying a rifle. Is there any way to un-equip a weapon? Or does anyone know any other reason why this might be happening?

Edit: Got a response in 20 minutes at the steam forums. The command to disable Annabelle is

ent_fire weapon_annabelle kill 0 0
