Well had to ask, i've had some RAM M/board problems, despite a 'pro' building it!

Just get the latest drivers from the site and see if that helps

Go into display settings/advanced , find the vpu recover tab and turn off vpu recover.
That should sort it.

That'll fix the error message, but not the problem.

Or he has a 9800SE, that happened to me a lot.

ATI, got to hate their reliability as a graphics manufacturer

It's probably an overheating problem. It's happened to me a few times when something's putting my CPU under some stress.

This probably belongs in the Hardware & Software forum where you might just find more help for this problem. Good luck!

meh update ur drivers, online games usually tell you that u have to update them anyway, you could be overheating (maybe busted fan?) or simply busted card in general, card installed properly?

I used to get this with San Andreas, but when I got my new cooling for me 9800 Pro, no problems anymore :D
