Annoying things :(

Well i finaly got around to play some css and over all im really quite enjoying it but i thought i would tell people of a cople of my complaints i have with the game and see what other people thought of them.

Well my main complain is the way you bonce of the physics objects with you walk into them. They always seem to be in really tactical spots as well. Like the barrels on the T Bridge room on Aztec, run in start shooting someone and then bonce off in some random directin, its really off putting and ive died quite a few times from it.

I also find it quite annoying that you cant really shoot through walls any more. I know it used to be quite ott, being able to shoot through any wall but at the end of the day it was always a great feeling to get a hs through a wall. I know you can shoot though some of the smaller boxs and some of the really really thin walls but over all it dosnt seem worth it. Shoud be able to shoot through at least a few feet through walls. I hate it when you know they are they but you cant do anything about it. You see them hide behind cover to reload or what ever but all you can do is sit there wile they camp. No more killing through the bridge room doors on aztec or through the walls on D2 :(. I wouldnt say it has ruined the game but it has taken quite a big part of it out, and the people who really do shoot through the walls alot im sure can understand where im coming from.

Thats the end of my rant for now im sure ill let you people know if i have anything elce to complain about :angel:
 
Well in real life (sorry i like realism) its not as if you can shoot through a concrete wall, the most penetrating weapon would be the AWP in 7.62 nato.
I say they have got it just about right, i mean you need places like boxes to hide behind to reload and encourage tactics.

I think it could do with an improved system, i mean in some places you cant shoot through like a curtain, in others you can shoot through whats supposed to be like 3 inch thick steel plate.
 
Yea thats fair enough but at the end of the day shooting through walls was part of the game and CS has never really been realistic. There is nothing more satisfuly then trailing a guy through a wall and letting off a few rounds in their face.
 
Yuo can still shoot through doors and corners.
I find it more satisfying now, seems like there's a bit more strategy to it
 
It'd be cool if you could destroy anything like in Red Faction. Someone hiding behind a wall? Just keep shooting it until it deteriorates so much that you can shoot through it.

Kind of makes me wish Red Faction 2 had mulitplayer support... curse those lazy developers! ;(

There was a reason why they changed it to be like that, although I can't remember exactly what it was. I do agree that it is annoying, especially in office when the filling cabinets get blown all over the place it often blocks the whole corridor and has got me killed numerous times, but I guess we should just get used to it and try and use it to our advantage.
 
It's so you can't jump on objects, apparently, or some other lame reason. You can change it with server commands, so I'm guessing there are some 'real physics' pub servers out there... somewhere...
