Since I re-installed Steam and all of the Half-Life games, including the expansions and Episode One, I've had some annoying problem with Half-Life 2, and I've also noticed it in SMOD: Remastered.
Basically the problem is this; while playing the game you can see these white lines appearing, either vertical or horizontal, not on the screen but rather on the surface of the walls, floor or ceiling. It looks like the levels themselves aren't exactly connected to each other thus making it look like the place is falling apart. It's most noticeable when you're in a pitch black room or corridor.
Of course pictures speak more than words...
So I'm asking, anyone know how to fix this problem? Seeing these lines really destroys the feeling when you're playing.
