Another big surprise from Nintendo about the Wii?!!

Well, theres a rumor going around at the moment that Nintendo have not yet spilled all of the beans about the Wii... Apparently, Nintendo are going to reveal something Big about the Wii around launch. Also, the rumor states its possibly something bigger than the controller announcement.

I can't possibly think what it could be. What could be bigger than the controller? I'm not sure but apparently this guy has a very realiable source. Also, Nintendo have stated it in a business meeting with Gamestop.

Obviously people are speculating about what this could possibly be. Here's a few examples: (taken from another forum)

The logical suggestion about Wii Play being bundled, too seeing as stores have pulled back a launch date
Something w/ the DS Lite connectivity
DVD movie playback is actually in there.
A surpise launch title or pushed up release date (Mario?)

I think it's quite obvious on what it is. My highly reliable unnameable sources back this up.
In fact it's not one thing, but it's several!
-Free midget with every Wii!
-Mail-in Rebeat to get 120% back
-Free 50in TV
-Is 3x more powerfull than the Ps3
-Can act as a toaster, microwave, oven, refridgerator, and etc.. all at the same time while playing games.
-Supports Open GL and Dx11
-Can play all Dreamcast, Ps1\Ps2\Ps3 and Xbox\Xbox 360 games and supports microsofts live, but free, and sonys new system.
-God himself is confused on how this is all possible.
-Wii can act as your home computer, supports every OS in existance and can dl them all for free, aswell as run them all at the same time, on seperate monitors or split screen.
-Wii can play all DRM content
-The midget will build a house for you, you can have him build any kind of house.
-You can select a price increase(no rebeat however) to $500 but get a 200% instant rebate at the store.
-You can customize the midget in any way you want(skin color, beard, sex, clothes, etc..)
-Wii can transform into a perfect Soccer Ball and a net at the same time.
-Wii can create matter and energy.
-I recently bought Nintendo.
-Nintedo recently bought Sony(and got rid of all DRM content and fixed exploding batteries), Microsoft, and forced EA to hire good game designers.

Seeing as people have already been able to use the console and play games fully on it, I wouldn't expect it to have a huge impact. It certainly won't be as big as the controller .... it's obviously minor enough to have gotten this far without having to use it to play the damn thing.

I already know the answer to this, and its quite amazing. An optional front end to the OS named 'WiiCan' is a virtual person that recognises voice commands and can talk to you with pretty complex AI. You can choose the persona from a pretty big online library of faces/characters/voices. I'm not sure if this information is already out or not, but there are microphones in the Wiimotes - they can double up as VoIP phones over the Wii's online buddy network.

I think it's just wishful thinking. The only possible surprise that I find plausible is Wii Play (the mini game compilation and extra controller) coming to the US.

EDIT: Or also likely could be Wii kiosks in Gamestop stores BEFORE release. Before they were saying it'd probably be after launch that kiosks would hit stores.

Besides...if it's something "BIG" then why are they only talking to Gamestop about it?

An overhead game from 1990 that has multiple paths to the end, items to collect and sell, etc. Not to mention the shittiest graphics you have ever seen... Or HL2. Kinda linear, but light-years better than any game made in 1990 because of it's awesome graphical capabilities.

Microphone on the controller could be a possibility... but I'm not surprised theres already one on it. So it could be that.

Wireless Keyboard/mouse. Doubtful to be honest, but it'd be pretty cool.

Love to see the output upscaled to a higher res.

Hopefully this rumor turns out to be true and is something big none of us expect. That'd be awesome.

Lets see Starcraft.. vs HL2..

Starcraft that led me to literally 5 years of enjoyment where i basically only played that game. Or HL2 which kept me entertained for about two times through.
