Another day at 2fort Episode 1 'New Friends'

This is the thread for discussion of the content in Horizon and Co.'s machinima 'Another day at 2fort', Episode 1 will be released in a few weeks. Until then, we can all enjoy this trailer I snapped together. The trailer is to give you a feel of what to expect in Episode 1.

This thread is just for Episode 1, after Episode 2 is released a new thread will be made. (Please use other, older thread for discussion of development of the entire project).

Please post your personal improvements that will help us improve our quality. Please note that this Episode was filmed under a very tight deadline and does include many bloobers we are aware of.

Feel free to ask any questions about the Machinima.

It looks really crap quality because me and Franie don't own high end PCs like Lit Fuse do. Also Highest would make no difference, all it would do is create lag, the bad quality is from the crap version of Fraps we are forced to use.

Yeh, I know everyone is peachy about the Quality of the clips, the overall factors are that we have used Windows Movie Maker and the free version of Fraps...


Anyway, if all goes well Franie is going to register for full fraps for Episode 2. We will also be improving many stupid bloopers which appear throughout the film, such as a taunting Soldier and the occasional slight twitches of positions.

EDIT: and overall, I think we have made a better start to Machinima than Zack made with 'Melon Man' a few years ago, that was just stupid...

Several of you are featured in this video, should be out later tonight.

*Note* I would also make a Meet BLU team but unfortunatley only 2 of the 5 BLU team members are seen in Episode 1, sorry Rapstah and Pyscho who played the BLU characters.
Meet BLU team will be made around the arrival of Episode 2, when all BLU team are featured in the credits.

Ok, Franie has just had his computer repaired and he recieved the Episode last night, he approves and is finishing doing voice overs this week.

Hmm, yeah the trailer on this page whenever i try to play it, it says "We're sorry, this video is no longer available." If i click on the video and go to YouTube directly it never loads.

The trailer music is also Lit Fuse, but isnt going to be used in any production of there, so I figured I'd use it, its also in the opening sequence of Ep1. The teaser music is Combine Nation as we all know.

Thats free to download, look on the blog, in Lars' section, it should have a few posts about music, its called 'Color'.
