Okay this is the first time this has happened to me and I can't find a way to fix it. In the middle of playing the game crashes so I restart my PC (no biggy this has happened before). I load up HL2 again and get to the main menu and when I click on "Load Game" to start playing again I hear a Windows-ish error sound and the game just closes to the desktop with no error message. I don't know what happened but I can't access the "Load Game" option anymore. I even tried starting a new game and then accessing it from in there and the game still just closes down. Anyone know how to fix this?
