I have a demo of him and was wondering if I could get him banned. Think vavle would?

I tried to upload the demo but I don't know how to compress it. It goes from 500k to about 220 when I zip it.

P.S. I can't wait til VAC pwns the h4xors

Demos are easy to fake so you can't send them in to ban people.

did the server have SV_cheats set to 1? If it did he wasn't hacking. One time a server had it set to 1 so I abused it

Forget Valve. They won't ban based on anything you could show them.

Take a demo showing it, "status" to show everyone's ID, and send it to the admin of the server, if you play there often. They might be willing to ban them.

Don't know how a demo is "easy" to fake. I know on the set of servers I play on, they keep stats, and will ban with the above required items.

Aiming and wall hacking is harder to spot. But a speedhack is the easiest thing to notice.

They don't ban anyone that gets reported.. There was this guy hacking and I got his Steam Account and then went to the steampowered site and it says that they don't do anything to reported hackers. No point in reporting them really. We'll just have to wait for VAC2.

On a side note, they do however accept hacks for submition. I suppse it helps them stregnthen VAC2.

Its a nice thing to report hackers but the problem is, half the time its probly because the person is just mad at the other person in weeny baby puss boy online fudes. Just wanting to get back at someone the 1337 way by getting their game banned. and how can u classify people as certain hackers? speedhackers yes, easy to spot. Aimbotters and wallhackers, not easy, because some people actually have good skill (something u 9 year olds dont know about so you just yell hax0r).... Just watch some demos of proffesionals

Source aimbots don't work very well at the moment. There's an open source colour-identifying aimbot that locks on to certain colour that show up on the screen. This is all very well and good for most games, but everyone knows that the hitboxes are laggy in source, and so shooting someone directly in the head would do jack sh*t against them, as long as they were doing something like sidestepping.

So basically that's what I think about it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ah no man your right on about that. I just have more then enough to get off my chest about these stupid kids who come in groups of 2 to 5 all under 14 years old with snotty attitudes on their moms computers come to ruin me trying to have fun. The aimbots arent the best, but my buddy recently got kicked out of a clan cause they thought he hacked. He gets alot of headshots, he always had, hes good, ive watched him play, no hacks. They banned him from clan and server because they cried hacks. And guess what, both crybabys about getting owned were under 15. Theres got to be someway to keep these immature fux away. I dont mind a young kid playing, as long as he either shuts the **** up or acts like an adult. Jesus christ

VAC 2 - the upcoming anti cheat for hl2 ,css etc.
